The French Riviera or Cote d’Azur has been the source of inspiration for some of the best artists in the world. You can walk in the footsteps of Picasso, Renoir, Matisse and Van Gogh, taking in the serene beauty of the Mediterranean landscape. A Travel Art Retreat on the Riviera is a dream for every artist.
WHERE WILL YOU STAY
You will stay at this private cottage, away from the bustle of the city, overlooking the Mediterranean in the far distance; perfectly placed within a serene gated park with private access to forest walks, cycling, hiking and even swimming in the secluded lake. All in the lap of rejuvenating tranquility.

The cottage has been built to accommodate a small family that loves the outdoors, so this retreat will have only 6 participants. That ensures much more intimacy and tranquility.
PLACES YOU WILL SEE
During your 6-day stay we will visit some of the most charming and historically significant places of the region. We start from Grasse - the town that made French perfume a luxury that the world clamoured to possess. Gourdon, the next little town on our list is just that - the littlest town from medieval times. An relic that has been so well preserved it forms a part of Les Plus Belles Villes de France. We follow this up with Antibes where Pablo Picasso lived and painted for a while and then to another favourite
artists village - St. Paul de Vence,
finally finishing off in Nice.

You can look forward to 6 days of total art immersion. Everywhere you go you will be shown how to illustrate your journals and take back memories of your trip in your hand made art.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Travel Art Journaling is something everyone can enjoy. You do not need to be a trained artist to make beautiful travel journals with you art. All you need is patience and enthusiasm.
We have had participants from age 26 to 70 during our retreats and from varying backgrounds - mothers, grand mothers, doctors, pilots, CAs and many others. Art is for everyone who desires it.

BONUS! For all participants for the retreat you can avail of 1-month worth of free sessions in our travel art classes online. That way you know exactly how to approach making travel journals without any fear!
ITINERARY & COSTS
DAY 1 - May 27th - Arrive at the Villa
DAY 2 - May 28th - GRASSE & GOURDON
DAY 3 - May 29th - ANTIBES
DAY 4 - May 30th - Visit to a local VINEYARD
DAY 5 - May 31st - ST. PAUL DE VENCE & NICE
Day 6 - June 1st - A quiet time at the Cottage
Day 7 - June 2nd - Check out from Villa and return to Nice airport.

1. Cost of retreat: Starting € 1,970 per person.
2. Shared and single occupancy rooms available.
3. Cost includes stay, local transport, some museum fees as per itinerary and meals.
4. Does not include airfare or visa cost.
5. This retreat is for 6 persons only. We will take registrations based on payment of first instalment on first-come-first-served policy.
